Cashel Travel is one of the leading DMC’s in the UK and Ireland. As part of our continued expansion we are looking to recruit a new MICE Project manager to join our growing MICE Team in our London or Edinburgh office.

 

Candidate Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in MICE/ Luxury travel
  • Strong organisational and administrative Skills.
  • Budgeting and planning
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure while always meeting deadlines
  • Professional and pleasant manner, creative, outgoing personality, team player & problem solving mentality.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland a preference.
  • Fluency in a second European language would be an advantage
  • Driving licence (not essential but desirable)


Duties:

  • Quoting and devising programmes for MICE leads
  • Creating strong relationships with clients by following CRM procedures
  • Devising new and interesting itineraries
  • Developing new products to offer to clients
  • Operating incentive and luxury programmes - this will include travel, on site inspections and assisting on-site during events and may involve evenings, overnight stays and weekend working.
  • Contact existing and potential customers, identify their needs, persuade them that the company’s range of services can best satisfy those needs, close sales by agreeing profitable terms and conditions, and, finally, provide after-sales service. 
  • Keep detailed records of all quotations
  • Ensuring that account and booking procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Attend company meetings, and briefings on a regular basis including preparation of  reports on the department as required by the General Manager or directors
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the marketplace.
  • Ensure that operators receive a service that meets their expectations and that quotations for services are presented accurately and on time.

Business Development Executive (Manchester Office)

Exciting opportunity to work for a global travel company like Cashel Travel
You'll be working as part of a small, dynamic and successful team in our Manchester office.


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Quoting for new sales leads, requotes and reviewing existing leads
  • Devising new, creative, innovative and  interesting itineraries
  • Developing new products to offer to clients
  • Ensure offers are in line with client's expectations

 

Follow up on quotes:

  • Sales, contact existing and potential customers, identify their needs, persuade them that the company’s range of services can best satisfy those needs, close sales by agreeing profitable terms and conditions, and, finally, provide after-sales service.
  • Keeping detailed records of all quotations, which can involve database maintenance.
  • Attend training courses, fam trips, trade fairs as required
  • Liaising with contracting
  • Ensure that clients  receive a service that meets their expectations and that quotes are presented accurately and on time.
  • Any other duties as required

 

Requirements:

Business Development & Operations Executive (Spanish Market)

Cashel Travel is one of the leading tour operators in the UK and Ireland.
As part of our continued expansion we are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive for our FIT department.

 

This exciting and important role will involve the following duties:

  • Take enquiries from prospective clients and provide accurate quotations for both groups and FIT’s
  • Book hotels and services on receipt of confirmation from the client.
  • Maintain records of FITs & Groups in accordance with Company standards, maintaining database.
  • Send accurate client documents prior to travel.
  • Issue sales invoices. Check supplier invoices.
  • Deal with any queries from suppliers and clients promptly and with courtesy.
  • Attend training courses, fam trips, trade fairs as required.
  • Devising new and interesting itineraries.
  • Developing new products to offer to clients.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the marketplace.
  • Ensure that operators receive a service that meets their expectations and that quotations for services are presented accurately and on time.

 

Qualifications required:

  • Knowledge of the UK and Ireland.
  • Experience in tourism, preferable tour operator, booking engines or travel agencies.
  • Native Spanish.
  • Outgoing personality, problem solving attitude.
  • Excellent written English and good telephone manners.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player.
