TERMS AND CONDITIONS

EDINBURGH MILITARY TATTOO PACKAGES 2010 TERMS & CONDITIONS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time which will take effect from the date of posting on the website. Your continued use of the site will mark your acceptance of any changes to the terms and conditions.

Please note that all payments received are in £ Sterling, Cashel Travel will not be held responsible/liable for exchange rates.

1.    Amendment & Cancellation Policy, Tattoo Packages Cancellations or amendments made directly with the hotel are not valid, and should instead be directed to Cashel Travel Ltd by telephone or by email to tattoo@casheltravel.co.uk. Cancellations or amendments made by email are not complete until they have been confirmed by return email. If you amend your booking, we will do so subject to availability of your new request, this is subject to a £15.00 administration fee. Amendment on the same day as arrival may be treated as cancellation. Should you decide to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges will apply.

Cashel Travel advises all purchasers to take suitable travel insurance.

Please note any refunds will be in £ sterling only

2.    In the event of any part of the performance being cancelled through inclement weather, tickets are NOT valid for any other performance and money will not be refunded. No performance has ever been cancelled.

3.    Entry to the Tattoo is by ticket only. Doors open 45 minutes before the start of the performance and the ticket holder is requested to be seated 15 minutes before the start of the performance.

4.    Personal belongings and baggage subject to search at Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

5.    Tickets may not be exchanged.

6.    Please check your tattoo tickets upon receipt as mistakes cannot always be rectified.

7.    The purchaser represents and warrants that the ticket is purchased for personal use only, and that it is not purchased as part of any form of business or commercial activity (save as expressly authorised by The Edinburgh Military Tattoo and its agents), and in particular, that the ticket may not be resold or offered for resale by anyone whether at a premium or otherwise and may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests and sweepstakes) or for any other trade purposes. Resale or attempted resale at a price higher than that printed herein is grounds for seizure or cancellation; this includes, for the avoidance of doubt, any publication via the internet or any other means with the intent to resell for commercial gain.

8.    The Edinburgh Military Tattoo reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder if in our reasonable opinion admission of the ticket holder might be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or the participants in the Tattoo and/or our employees, and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the performance of the Tattoo by way of being a nuisance, annoyance or otherwise.

9.    TICKET DESPATCH will commence from July 2010. For all UK residence Tickets will be despatched using Royal Mails Recorded Signed for service (next day delivery). Europe and all other destinations by Royal Mails International Signed for ™ Service (Target delivery is within 3 working days to Western Europe, 4 working days to Eastern Europe and 5 working days for the rest of the world. Please inform us as soon as possible of any change of address or alternative address you wish the tickets to be mailed to at the time of confirmation as Cashel Travel Ltd will not be held responsible for tickets being lost or stolen. A signature will be required on receipt for all packages.

10.    Edinburgh Pass Terms and Conditions

10.1) The Edinburgh Pass becomes active when it is first used and is valid for the calendar day or number of calendar days indicated on the card.

10.2) Cards are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

10.3) Pass holders can visit each attraction once per Edinburgh Pass.

10.4) Edinburgh Passes purchased online are non-transferable and non-refundable. There will be no refunds or replacements for lost or stolen cards.

10.5) Each Edinburgh Pass can only be used by the card's signatory.
All participants listed on this website are contractually bound with Visit Scotland to offer free entry and/or special offers where appropriate to Edinburgh Pass holders.

10.6) Cashel Travel has taken all reasonable care to ensure that only properly run and reputable facilities of good standing are within the Edinburgh Pass scheme. However, they will not be liable for any deficiencies in service, quality of merchandise or health and safety pertaining to any particular facility. All complaints or claims must be made directly to the facility concerned.

10.7) All Edinburgh Pass cardholders enter a facility voluntarily and at their own risk.

11.    Car Hire / Tours / Airport Transfers

In order to provide you with the best service we can, we collect certain personal information about you. When you book tickets, we may need to collect information about you to process the transaction and fulfil your order. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, your address and your credit card details. Cashel Travel Ltd does not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Complaints - any problems with your accommodation must immediately be brought to the attention of Cashel Travel Ltd. Should you remain dissatisfied, please send us a written complaint within 28 days of the end of your stay.

Disputes - while every effort will be made to resolve any dispute amicably, in the unlikely event of legal proceedings resulting from a dispute shall take place under the law of the United Kingdom and under the jurisdiction of the UK Courts.
