The Gathering 2009's two day Highland Games will be held in the magnificent Royal Park of Holyrood, with its breathtaking volcanic backdrop of Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags. On the Saturday evening Clan members will parade up the historic Royal Mile and take their seats on the castle esplanade for a spectacular Clan Pageant . Most of the accommodation we offer is within easy walking distance of either the Castle or Holyrood Park (for both!) but all of the accommodation we offer is city centre and therefore a short bus ride or taxi journey from the heart of the action.
